Repair work to sluiceway side of the Rogers Lake Dam

Repair work on the sluiceway side of the Rogers Lake Dam

Taking advantage of the drawdown, work was scheduled at the end of October. The repairs to the dam embankment will protect the migrating fish from harm when the sluiceway is open.

NOTICE

Rogers Lake Authority

Rogers Lake will be drawn down 14 inches from the level of the dam spillway beginning September 16, 2024.   The draw down occurs every four years to allow lakeshore property owners to conduct maintenance to their docks or sea walls.  We expect the drawdown to take one week and the lake will be allowed to refill starting October 23, 2024.

Boaters should take notice that the lower lake level will mean shallower water near shore and the State boat ramp at Grassy Hill.
