Online Tax Payment Options
Effective January 1, 2025, Town of Old Lyme’s online payment fees changed:
- Credit card fees reduced to 2.5% (minimum fee of $2.00)
- Debit card fees reduced to 1.0% (minimum fee of $2.00)
- ACH (electronic) e-Check increased from $0.50 to $0.95.
How to use our payment portal:
- On the Tax Collector page:
- Click on the big GOLD "Pay Taxes Online" button
- It will tell you that you are leaving Town of Old Lyme website
- Click “Proceed” – this will take you to “https://www.mytaxbill.org/inet/bill/home.do?town=oldlyme," you will see Town of Old Lyme logo.
- Follow the instructions on how to search either by name, property location, or unique ID.
- If you choose name, enter last name first, NO COMMA, and first initial
- The next screen shows current and recent year taxes and any unpaid bills. If you have any unpaid balances there will be a GREEN shopping cart on the right-hand side. Click on the GREEN shopping cart, then click on the GOLD shopping cart at the top of the page to proceed with checkout. Then pick your payment option; credit, debit, or e-Check - please see online payment fees above.
- Once you make a payment you will receive a confirmation email.
