Responsibilities

The Tax Collector is responsible for the collection of all monies due to the Town including, but not limited to:

  • Real Estate Taxes
  • Motor Vehicle Taxes
  • Personal Property Taxes

The Collector is also responsible for reporting fiscal information to the various Town Departments, Boards and Commissions, the State of Connecticut, and the United States Bureau of the Census.
