Use QR Codes to Download Maps

QR codes for Open Space property hiking maps will available on kiosks at trail heads.

The QR code, shown above, points to the Open Space Commission website.

Aim your phone's camera at the QR code and a drop-down section or link should open to the "hiking" section in the Old Lyme Open Space website. Select the map you desire and it will open in your phone's browser. Enjoy your time on the open space trail!

Please note you may need to check your smartphone's camera to be sure that it will scan the code. As an example, see the screen image below of an iPhone's settings for "camera."

Carrying a phone with you while hiking is a good safety practice. You can call for help if needed, and your phone may help emergency responders find you faster.
