You must be an Old Lyme taxpayer to purchase a Parking Permit – please bring proof of residency, such as a valid car registration showing an Old Lyme address. If the vehicle registration does not reflect your Old Lyme address, you must provide a recent property tax bill.  

The Parking Permit sticker needs to be affix to your lower right hand (passenger) side of your windshield. The permits go on sale in May  at the Memorial Town Hall from the Selectman's Office. They are sold between the hours of  9AM - 3:30PM.

You can pay with a check, charge card or cash (exact change please) when picking up at the Town Hall.  

Please remember to bring:

1. Completed form - Form will be updated for the 2026 season by May
2. Your Vehicle's current registration(s) for each pass – the Permit is tied to the license plate of your vehicle. 
   If your vehicle is not registered in Old Lyme, please bring your current registration and a copy of your current property taxes or proof of property ownership in Old Lyme.
3. Payment (check, charge or exact cash)

All beach passes will be processed and picked up at the Town Hall.  We will not be offering a mailing option this year.
