Look for the new blue beach mats at White Sand Beach and Sound View! These 100-ft long paths lead from the paved areas down to the water to provide access for people with disabilities, walkers and elderly visitors or parents with strollers. At White Sand Beach, one of the two handicap parking spots was moved closer to the bath house and the location of the beach mat.
Thank you to our great Public Works crew for installing the mats at both locations. The mats were purchased through the Town’s ARPA funding.
