On Tuesday, August 26^th, the Old Lyme Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) will present an update on the Sound View Beach and Miscellaneous Town Area B Sewer Project. This will be held at the Lyme-Old Lyme High School at 6:30 PM. WPCA Chair, Steve Cinami, will present updated estimated costs associated with the project. This is an information session, including a question-and-answer period. The WPCA will need town approval for additional funding, although the residents of Sound View will bear the costs. The financial request will have to be approved at a future Town Meeting before it can go to a town wide referendum.
