This week the Board of Selectmen appointed the first members of the Road and Safety Committee. We are still looking for members to represent the Laysville/Rogers Lake, and South Lyme areas of town. If you are interested, please apply here.

Absentee Ballots become available on Tuesday, July 23^rd  for the Republican Primary that will be held on August 13, 2024. Only electors who are registered as a Republican may vote. You can apply online at Connecticut Online Absentee Ballot Request Portal or in person at the Town Clerk’s Office.

Congratulations to the Old Lyme Fire Department on their recent award of  the “Pinnacle of Excellence” in the category of Soft Books at the “PINE” Printing Industries of New England award show on May 9, 2024. The award was given to the Old Lyme Fire Department for the development of their 100^th Anniversary book.  

We also want to congratulate Corporal Dominic Solari on 20 years of service to the Old Lyme Police Department and five additional years as a Ranger.  We appreciate his time and dedication to the Town of Old Lyme.
