Anyone missing a backpack and a lacrosse stick, from a few weeks ago, at the Lymes' Senior Center - please come to the First Selectman's office at the Town Hall.

The Senior Center staff has settled into their temporary office at the Town Hall in the American Legion Room (2nd floor). This move however, has not slowed down their offerings of activities; visit their website page to see their calendar, a full a list of trips and this month's newsletter.
FREE Flu Shots for Old Lyme Residents
The Old Lyme Visiting Nurse Association will hold its annual free flu vaccination clinic this weekend. It is a drive through format and any resident of Lyme or Old Lyme that is 18 years or older is eligible for a free regular (not high dose) flu shot on Saturday, October 21st from 10am-1pm at the Lyme-Old Lyme Middle School.
Assessor's Office Notification
The Assessor’s Office reminds all Persons Conducting Business in the Town of Old Lyme that, pursuant to Section 12-40 of the Connecticut General Statutes, they have a requirement to file a complete and accurate Declaration of all taxable personal property used in the conduct of their business with the Assessor’s Office as of October 1, 2023. Personal Property Declarations have been mailed out to persons known to be conducting business in the Town of Old Lyme. Whether or not you have received a Declaration, the Declaration must be filed or postmarked (as defined in C.G.S. Sec. 1-2a) no later than Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
Election Information
The Municipal Election will take place on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 and the polls will be open from 6:00am. to 8:00pm. The polling location is the Lyme-Old Lyme Middle School gymnasium located at 53 Lyme Street. Absentee Ballots are available via the Town Clerk's office. For more information on how to apply for an absentee ballot contact the Town Clerk’s office. If you want to register to vote or check your voter status, please contact the Registrar of Voters’ office or visit this page.
Lastly, we'd like to congratulate Kari Kastango for becoming the first person to swim the entire 410 miles of the Connecticut River. Kari finished her swim here in Old Lyme last weekend.
