It's a busy time of year and I didn't want a week to go by without letting you know a few things that are happening in town.

Join us in wishing the Lyme-Old Lyme High School class of 2023 well. There will be a car parade on Lyme Street tonight (Wednesday) starting at 6pm.

Town Meeting & Vote   

Electors and citizens eligible to vote in a Town Meeting are hereby warned that the Special Town meeting will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 7pm in the Lyme-Old Lyme Middle School Auditorium.  There will be a presentation by the Senior Center Expansion Committee that will describe the scope of the expansion and the related costs. 

The Vote for the Resolution will be held on Tuesday, June 20 from 12-8pm at the Lyme-Old Lyme Middle School Gymnasium.  For more information on the The Lyme's Senior Center expansion, please review the building renovation public information deck. It includes an overview, considerations and challenges, estimated project cost, funding sources and project timeline. NEW Passport Parking Application for Parking at Sound View

The Passport Parking app is free to download and allows parkers to seamlessly pay for and extend their parking session from their smartphones.  Old Lyme residents with parking permits may park for free, depending upon space availability.

June is Dog License Month

Please remember to check in with the Town Clerk to renew or register your four legged friend(s). 

The website is updated daily to include timely information from each of our Departments, Boards and Commissions.  Examples include an air quality alert on the front page, or the Halls Road Committee frequently asked questions.  We're happy so many work to keep you updated on the many happenings going on here in Old Lyme.
