The RiverCOG TOD Vision Plan is an initiative that aims to enhance connectivity throughout all forms of transit and promote walkable, compact, and mixed-use development near and around our regions three Shore Line East stations and the Middletown bus terminal.

Through the U.S. DOT’s Thriving Communities Program, RiverCOG has been working on a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) vision plan with the Town of Old Saybrook, Town of Westbrook, Town of Clinton, and City of Middletown. The plan encourages multimodal connectivity and promotes walkable, compact, and mixed-use development near the region’s three Shore Line East stations and the Middletown bus terminal. An on-demand public feedback module is live on the RiverCOG's website from through March 12.
