Jim Ward of Lyme Old Lyme Food Share Garden was on hand along with Sustainable CT's Program Coordinator Dorothy Piszczek and Sustainable CT Fellow Summer Mitchell to help celebrate the Middle School Greenhouse Ribbon-Cutting. The LOLFSG raised an estimated $8k for the project via the Community Match Fund offered by Sustainable CT. Middle School Science Teacher Sharon Glorioso and District Technology Specialist Tammy Noyes explained the integration off the green house classroom space into the curriculum. The Middle School Eco Warriors were happy to show guests around and explain the hydroponic station and cold weather plants they were growing.
