[ARCHIVED] Annual Parking Permit Available as of May 1st

2024 Annual Seasonal Parking Permits for Rogers Lake, White Sand Beach and Sound View Beach

Our annual parking permits will be available for sale online this year. The website will go live at noon on May 1st. You will have the option to have your pass mailed directly to you or you can pick it up at Town Hall. Please allow 72 hours for processing, as this system is new to us.

How to purchase your Annual Parking Permit:

  1. Click the Permit & License button on the Home Page of the Town Website
  2. Select the Selectman's Office and then select Parking Permit
  3. Create an OpenGov account   If you have used the Town’s Permitting system before for a building permit, you may already have an account and can log into that one.
(To check if you have an account, search by your name or address)
  4. Proof of Residency  Upload a recent tax bill or  your Motor Vehicle registration with your Old Lyme address on it.
    • How to find & upload your Tax Bill. Go to Tax Collector page, click on the Check Payment Status button, and follow the prompts that take you to mytaxbill.org page. Search by Name, enter your last name and your first initial as appears on your CT DMV vehicle registration. Do not use commas.   This will take you to a page that lists your 2022 Grand List year Motor Vehicle tax bill. Click on the round blue “i” information button and download the PDF of your Bill Information page. Upload this PDF into our OpenGov permit system.
    • If you are using your car registration as proof of your Old Lyme residency, please take a photo of the registration form and upload it into our OpenGov permit system.
  5.  Payment  Here you can pay online (please note there is a fee for this service) or by check or cash.  If you choose by check, you will need to mail or bring your check down to the Town Hall (a self-addressed envelope is always appreciated).
  6. Notice your permit is ready Once payment is received, your permit will be issued, and you will receive an email that your permit is on its way to you or ready for pickup.
