MARTHA MARX LISTENING TOUR
Next week, I’m planning on holding a Listening Tour throughout our region, taking opportunities to meet with people directly and hear from them about what they’re dealing with right now, as well as how legislators can potentially help in next year’s legislative session. These events provide me with important feedback from constituents and helps me know how people feel about our state.
December Listening Tour events are scheduled as follows:
- Monday, December 9, 12:00 PM – Montville Public Safety Meeting Room
- Monday, December 9, 4:30 PM – New London Library
- Tuesday, December 10, noon – Waterford Library
- Tuesday, December 10, 6 PM – East Lyme Senior Center
- Thursday, December 12, 6 PM – Old Lyme Town Hall

"These listening sessions are important as it brings me face-to-face with people and we can talk about what they’re most focused on,” said Sen. Marx. “The more I hear from people in my community, the more informed I am when I’m in Hartford voting on bills. That’s a great thing.”
