
Overview
The Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) is the town of Old Lyme's regulatory body primarily concerned with water pollution control. This committee is charged with evaluating water pollution and developing pollution mitigation plans in compliance with local and state requirements.
This committee is made up of 9 appointed volunteers with 3 alternates that can contribute with their applicable experience in fields such as civil, chemical, electrical, mechanical, or environmental engineering, project management, plumbing, construction, government processes, etc.
This committee meets typically the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7.30 pm, however due to holidays and town business conflicts, alternate days and times will be posted on the town event calendar.
