Halls Road Overlay District

Thank you for your interest in the Halls Road Overlay District (HROD) proposal. 
The Overlay allows NEW mixed-use zoning for the town’s main commercial district.
It is completely optional.
New Zoning does not require The Town to build ANYTHING!
The Overlay Zone proposes a competitive alternative to the commercial only development on Halls Road. This proposal would allow much needed apartment type housing to create a new walkable town center with shops along the street.

OVERVIEW

The Halls Road Improvements Committee (HRIC) is charged with leading the improvements process on Halls Road. The direction follows the recommendations created in the Halls Road Master Plan Booklet (PDF).
